A pause for you

Welcome

A space to slow down and reconnect with yourself, gently noticing what’s been pushed aside and begin from where you are.

meeting yourself where

you are

You may feel anxious, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of what you truly want. If you’ve spent years orienting toward others or staying small, you might struggle to identify your feelings, trust your body, or set boundaries without guilt.Even when life looks stable, something feels off. You’re seeking a slower, safer space to understand yourself, reconnect with your inner world, and live more authentically.

what is the

approach

Mindful Mending offers trauma-informed counselling grounded in an understanding of the nervous system. With a person-centred approach and practical tools, you’ll gently explore patterns, emotions, and the parts of you that have learned to stay quiet or adapt. I draw on approaches including IFS, Somatic Practices, and Narrative Therapy to guide sessions, helping you notice what is often overlooked and build a steadier connection with yourself.Together, we focus on building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a more connected relationship with yourself, without pressure, judgment, or expectation.

I offer a space that is slow, grounded, and deeply attuned to you, a place where you don’t have to arrive a certain way, just as you are. With support and the expansion of your toolbox, you will begin to notice what is often overlooked or pushed aside, gently making sense of patterns, emotions, and the parts of you that have learned to stay quiet or adapt.Nothing here is rushed or forced. The focus is on building awareness, fostering a steadier connection with yourself, and allowing change to unfold in its own time in a way that feels real, sustainable, and authentically you.Based in Vancouver, BC, I offer online counselling for individuals within the province.
